እግዚአብሔር/𝐈𝐠𝐳𝐢𝐚𝐛𝐞𝐡𝐞𝐫 in the Ethiopic or Ge’ez language, literally means “Lord of The Universe”, God. This is referring to our Lord and Savior Iyesus Kristos (Jesus Christ). This word can be heard all throughout Ethiopia and Eritrea.
